What is the best website builder for a small business?

None is best for everyone. Wix and Squarespace are the easiest, WordPress.com is the cheapest to start, and Webflow gives the most design and search control. Compare all five in our do-it-yourself guide.

How long does it take to build a small business website?

Learning as you go, we estimate about 15 hours for a simple five-page site and 25 to 50 hours for a complex one, such as a site with booking, payments or a store. Writing the words takes longest. Our turnaround is about a week.

Do I need a website if I have a Facebook page?

Yes, if you want people to find you on Google and trust you before they call. A Facebook page only reaches people on Facebook, and you don't own it. Your website and domain belong to you.

Can I update my website myself after you build it?

On an editable site, yes. You get a login to change your words, photos and prices without breaking the design, and we show you how before handover. On a starter site, call or text us and we'll make the change.

What do you build websites with?

Starter sites are hand-coded and load fast. Editable sites are built in Webflow, which gives you a simple editor and gives us full control of the design and search settings. Hosting is included in your care plan.

How do I get my business to show up on Google?

Start with a free Google Business Profile. Verify your site in Google Search Console, also free. Give every page a clear title and description that names your service and town. Learn what SEO involves, what you can do yourself and how we can do it for you.

Do I have to pay every month for a website?

Price set October 26, 2026.

Our care plan starts at $50 a month. It covers hosting, updates, backups, a monthly check of your forms and links, and fixing anything we built that breaks. Need help? Call or text us. Bigger changes are quoted separately. There's a 12-month minimum.

What can you build into my website?

Booking, payments, quote forms, online stores, chatbots, review requests and follow-up texts, plus the setup that gets you found on Google. Tell us how your business runs, and we'll build the site around it.

How many pages does a small business website need?

Most start with five: home, services, about, reviews and contact. Add a page for each main service so each one can be found on Google.

Can you create my logo and brand too?

Yes. We can design your logo and brand, or build around the one you already have.

What happens after I get in touch?

We'll call you, learn how your business runs, and show you what your site could look like. It's free, and there's no pressure.

Want to build it yourself?

You can. If your site is simple and you have a few free weekends, it may be the right call. Our free step-by-step guide has real prices, time estimates and an honest comparison of five platforms, including where Wix or Squarespace beats the one we use.
